Hi there! My name is Kelsi and like you, I wear many hats! I am a wife to my Papua New Guinean husby, mama to three precious girls, a fulltime employee at a job I am blessed to have, and most importantly, the daughter of the most high King! And oh yes, the chef, the taxi driver, the cleaning lady, the nurse, and oh so much more! 😊 I was born and raised in small town Ohio and am the youngest of seven children. I am blessed to have been raised in a tight knit family, with parents who introduced me to the Lord.
My husband works away from home a significant amount of time and while we are blessed to have the income from his traveling job, it does make our life a little more chaotic during the week. I continuously pray for the strength of the Lord to help me do the things that need to be done, lean on my family for help, listen to encouraging podcasts, as well as seek out blogs via Pinterest for tips and tricks, whether that be for cleaning hacks, recipes, parenting advice, and finances.
I have decided to start this blog, in hopes to inspire and encourage other busy mama’s, in the ways that I also have been blessed by other woman who share their life’s moments with me! My hope is to share with you the things that I have learned as a working mother to make my life a little easier. Whether that be my go-to recipes, tending to a (somewhat) organized home, keeping up with our finances, and wins & fails of parenthood. I am learning to find the joy in motherhood (as it does not come naturally to me), and I hope that I can encourage you in that as well!
If you are a busy mama who seeks encouragement and are looking for ways to find your calm in the storm of life, follow along on my journey as I seek the Lord and his will for my life, and strive to encourage you in your everyday living!
“Why are you fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm” – Matthew 8:26
